The Making of Inez
1. Design
The brief was simple, we wanted to create a high quality, unique footwear in 100% genuine leather in a modern classic design that will stand the test of time - and the Inez is just that. It’s minimal and feminine, with a geometric design that helps elongate the appearance of your feet and legs. Completed with curved 2” kitten heels with thicker top piece, just enough to elevate your everyday look without sacrificing the comfort.
2. Pattern Making
Our experienced shoemaker works very closely with our design team to create an original leather pattern on paper cardboard, perfecting every curve, meticulously shaping every detail.
3. Cutting & Stitching
Each leather piece is traditionally hand cut using a leather scissor, and hand sewn together using a sewing machine. As the Inez features a very fine and thin strap, this step requires the utmost precision and experience for a flawless finish.
4. Assembly
All the components are hand assembled together including the insole, outsole and all the linings. Each element is then polished, buffed and finished to perfection.
